This large painting hangs in the grand lobby across from the Calder. The foundation is the Warriors logo on the hardwood floor; look closely and you can see other graphic references to slogans and players.

“It is our symbol, but if you peel it back you start to see elements all over of Warriors history,” Welts says, “from the recent championships all the way back to the original team in Philadelphia.”
